Project codename is a codename (usually a single word, short phrase or abbreviation) which is given to a project, in order to uniquely identify it within the organization. For example Apollo project landed first humans on the moon, and Manhattan project developed first nuclear weapons.

WBS is an abbreviation for Work Breakdown Structure. WBS is one of the most common project management terms. WBS defines and groups project's work elements (or tasks) in a way that helps organize and define the total work scope of the project.

Projects are typically related to specific physical locations. These can be office buildings where project teams were located, hotels where teams were accommodated, or simply restaurants or bars where project team was spending time after working hours.

Project industry is directly linked to a company/organization where the project is running. Project category describes the nature of the project itself, regardless of the entity that is running the project and industry in which it operates.

Some projects are complex in nature, and it is hard to classify them under only one category. For example if we have a project where we implemented SAP system, and at the same time introduced process controls and segregation of duties according to Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, then we can classify this project as an IT – SAP project, and at the same time as Finance Transformation - SOX project.

Secondary category is always optional. You can search projects using both categories.

Please select “Other”, and then enter “N/a” in a field next to project team.
