It is up to you what elements of your professional profile will be publicly available, and visible to non-logged visitors of WBSmates and internet search engines, and what will be visible for your direct connections in WBSmates only. You can always maintain these settings with Edit my profile – Privacy function.  

WBSmates may display targeted advertisements based on personal information.

Please note that WBSmates cannot be sure where your personal information will be accessed, as internet is a global medium. As a result your personal information may be transferred outside of the European Economic Area (EEA).

At any time you have the right to terminate using WBSmates, for any reason, and cancel your account. You can cancel your account using Edit my profile – Delete profile function.

Security Measures

We do our best to secure your personal data and WBSmates network from unauthorized or malicious users.

We have several physical and electronic security measures in place to protect personal information and the network. As an example our servers are located in European Union in a secure data center, protected by several physical and electronic measures. Your personal data on regular basis are backed up and stored in a different secure location.

Unfortunately transmission of data via the internet is never completely secure. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized or malicious users will not defeat these security measures that we have in place. We cannot warrant the security of any information transmitted to us over the internet and we accept no liability for any unintentional disclosure of your personal information.

You mind find links to third party websites on our website. These websites should have their own privacy policies which you should check. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for their policies whatsoever as we have no control over them.

WBSmates may set and access cookies on your computer. Cookies will be set only after you select “Remember me” option at the sign in screen.

You may review and edit your personal information at any time by logging into the WBSmates and selecting “Edit my profile” function. At any time you have the right to delete your data, and to report any misuse of your data, the Website and/or Services, in such case please send an email to abuse@wbsmates.com.

Children

WBSmates network is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age.

Mail Communication

By signing up to WBSmates you agree to receive mail information about events in your network, including invitations, notifications, confirmations, and other types of information. This communication will be sent to an email address user during the registration. You can change this email address using “Edit my profile” function. We do not disclose your personal email to other WBSmates users, and we do not sell or provide it to any third parties for marketing purposes. We may however provide them with collective statistical information about our users. We may also use collective data to help our advertisers reach their target audience. The data collected may also be used by us in order to comply with our advertiser’s wishes in displaying their advertisement to their target audience.

Changes to WBSmates Privacy Policy

WBSmates reserves the right to update this Policy from time to time without prior notice, and such modification shall be effective upon posting by WBSmates on the WBSmates.com Website. If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will notify you about it via WBSmates mailbox. You agree to be bound to any changes to this Policy when you use the WBSmates Services after any such modification is posted.
